Meet the 2016 Heal a Hound Dogs
Throughout the greyhound rescue community GPA MN is known as a “last chance destination” for greyhounds with complex injuries or special needs. These hounds often require expensive medical treatments that include surgery, physical therapy and life-time medications. We are able to provide this medical care through our Heal a Hound Fund. Here are a few of the dogs that have benefitted from the Heal a Hound Fund this past year.
The Heal a Hound Fund was established in 2006 to help support individual greyhounds that come to GPA MN and require special medical care before they can go to their forever home. The fund helps to cover the medical expenses that are above and beyond the normally anticipated expenditures for an incoming hound. GPA MN is recognized as the regional resource for bringing in dogs with special needs.
