We're glad you have chosen to adopt a retired racing greyhound! We hope your hound is adjusting well to retired life and that you are enjoying the newest member of your pack. Our adoption representatives are available at anytime after the adoption should you have any questions or concerns. Both representatives and fosters work together to ensure a successful placement. If issues arise following adoption, the representatives and fosters will work with you to help you and the dog have a successful relationship.

Socialize your Hounds!  
While GPA events are great opportunities for you to meet other greyhound lovers, they are also a great opportunities for your greyhound to meet other greyhound friends as well.  The first time you bring your hound to a GPA event you may be surprised to see how excited they get to see other greyhounds.  Remember, your dog has grown up around other greyhounds and they really do enjoy each others company. We encourage you to take opportunities to mingle with other hounds and owners at our events. Check out the Happenings for upcoming social opportunities.
