GASSY WALKS

Greyhound Ambassadors Strolling Sundays Yarely*

At 2:00pm each Sunday, join members of GPA MN for a stroll around Lake Harriet
or Como Lake. Walks take place year round, weather permitting.

FYI: If the weather is good enough for you and your hounds to take a 2.75 mile walk around Lake Harriet AND do so comfortably, there will probably be other hounds and humans there to meet you. Como walk slows down in attendance from November until April unless it's a lovely warm day.

Lake Harriet GASSY Walk

Lake Harriet Rose Garden, 4124 Roseway Road, Minneapolis, MN

Join members of GPA Minnesota for a stroll around Lake Harriet with the greyhounds. The walk is approximately 2.75 miles round trip.

The group meets near the Lake Harriet Rose Garden which is located on the Northeast shore of Lake Harriet, at the intersection of Roseway Road and E Lake Harriet Boulevard. (Map)

GASSY Too at Como Park

Blackbear Crossings 1360 Lexington Pkwy N St Paul, MN 55103

This group meets at the Como Lakeside Pavilion/Blackbear Crossings, which is located on the northwest shore of Como Lake along Lexington Parkway. (Map)

There is ample parking in two lots on either side of the Pavilion or on the street throughout the Como Park area.

The walk takes about 45 minutes and is approximately 1.7 miles long.

For more information contact Neil & Sylvia Kresal at meetandgreet@gpa-mn.org.

*Yarely is an old English word, meaning quickly or with haste – appropriately reflective of the greyhound style, of course!
