GPA MN Participating Vets
The National Greyhound Association requires all retired racing greyhounds to be spayed or neutered prior to adoption. Every GPA MN dog is spayed or neutered and gets a dental check-up and cleaning under anesthesia prior to their adoption. Because greyhounds have special anesthesia needs, performing both procedures at the same time prevents the dogs from having to go through anesthesia and surgical procedures twice. All adoptable dogs are also current on their rabies and DHPP vaccinations. Vaccination records will be provided along with vetting records at the time of adoption.
The following Veterinarians generously provide GPA MN with discounted services for the vetting of incoming foster hounds before they are adopted.
These clinics are very knowledgeable about the special medical needs of greyhounds.
